Weekly Journal 2.1

This week has been interesting and frustrating for me to figure out what is going on with my group. I have talked with multiple people in the group, and I understand they are making a game and not use to working with a producer for their game before. As I have never worked with anyone designing a game before. So, trying to come to a middle ground on what the group needs and what I can do to help them meet this goal has been hard to say the least. Finally, we have agreed for me to test the game and answer questions on a tech sheet and write down what I find out. Also, they require a test audience for the game, well I have three kids myself a 13-year-old son, and a 11- and 5-year-old daughter that will be playing the game with me taking notes. I am hoping this will help my group answer some of the questions they have on game play and control.

The group has set up a Trello board and held their group meetings in a Scrum environment. Which went by pretty fast with what each person talking about what they were working on, and roadblocks they might be having. Which came in handy for me, because I was able to tell them what my roadblock was, and it was able to be addressed right then and handled. These next few weeks will be interesting to get more of an idea of the game and where the group is heading. On Friday the group meet live many times but more of an open channel that they were working on and just talked from time to time when they had a question.
