Assignment 7.2: Weekly Journal

 Assignment 7.2: Weekly Journal

This week, was probably the most fun I have had all class! We started out at the beginning of this class without much of an idea of how the end of the class project would work. There was so much uncertainty with working with the undergrad team, that most of the class, that I was beginning to think, "what was the point to this class?" Then I started to communicate with my classmate Enitza, and she opened my mind into how what we were learning in this class have so many applications into other fields other than just making videos games.

With a new creative outlook into this class, I was able to come up with a different approach to making a game pitch that was not just talking about the technical specs of a game, which is what I would have done in the past. I was able to add the fun back into a pitch, and hopefully we were able to talk about how games can be used to help children with growth development within themselves through playing games.

I went over more of the reading and looking at the pictures and trying to see how the approach to Scrum can work almost within any project if you want it too. Almost all projects I have worked on in the past we have almost always used the Waterfall approach, once you are done with one project you start the next. Working small projects within the final project makes it much easy to focus and get things done, and you are not having to wait for the project in front of you to finish before you can start. I think this way is much more efficient than the way my other projects have worked.
