Journal Week 5.1 - 2/7/22 - 2/13/22

  Journal Week 5.1 - 2/7/22 - 2/13/22

     Last week, I ended my Journal Week 4 with "I am frustrated." This week, I am beyond frustrated with my undergrad team. Or should I say not frustrated with the "team", but more the Scrum Master Jake & Scrum Project Owner Skylar! Enitza and I have both reached out multiple times to get information from these Scrum teammates, and they both say the other one will get back to us. Then its crickets....

     I do have to give a shootout to Vanessa and Novali who have at least given Enitza and I some attention and have done their best to answer questions when we have asked them. Normally within 24 hours of us asking them. Without these two individuals, we would still be sitting here twiddling our thumbs waiting for some answers to our questions throughout this process.

    Enitza and I have been brainstorming ideas on how to show this game in a positive light for the pitch assignment, but it's quite challenging without any help from the team with hands on knowledge of the game and its dynamics.

     What I have learned this week from class and the readings is yes this game is worth building from an educational standpoint and the fact that Fizzling's Fun House does have a small fan base through YouTube. But is this team capable of building the game? Not on how it stands now, and I will leave the answer that Novali wrote to Enitza;

    "Is the team capable of building the game? This is something I would disagree with because of the lack of communication, feedback, and trust within the team..."

That pretty much sums up the outcome of the game at this point in class.
